Your Accommodation
Perched on the edge of a tidal river whose pristine water mirrors that of the sea whence it comes, the 5-acre compound sits among the mangrove and rain forests. From your palm-covered floating pontoon, you can hear the sound of water trickling by with the tides, joining the chorus of birdcalls from up above the forest canopy – nature at its most elegance. Kayak from your private beach to the Salt Lake, follow the river and head the opposite direction toward the uninhabited island facing the sea, or simply enjoy swimming, fishing and snorkeling off the pontoon.

There are two spacious and separate bures (bungalows) in this rustic-luxe hideaway. Each bure comes with luxury beddings including new and comfortable mattresses, and an en-suite bathroom with ample hot water. Both bures have a small sitting area within, and a balcony. Under one bure is a large screened in lounge where guests could enjoy reading or watching movies. In-between the bures are the open-air kitchen and verandah where guests dine al fresco while taking in the beauty of the river and the air sweetly scented with a variety of fruits, flowers and rich tropical vegetation that is all around.
Windows and doors have screens to allow guest unfettered enjoyment of the sights and sounds of forest and river life.

The resort is about half-hour drive to the quaint town of Savusavu where exist multiple supermarkets, grocers, shops, a post office, banks, a pharmacy, and several restaurants. Eat out or use our personal chef to prepare gourmet-style home cooked meals, under a reasonably priced service plan. Our talented chef can create a variety of exquisite dishes – from delicious island cuisine to international fare, using all the land has to offer, including organic fruits, herbs and vegetables, along with imported food items. Menus could easily be adjusted to accommodate any vegetarian choices and food allergies.

A Fijian feast called ‘Lovo’ (food cooked over heated rocks underground) is a must while in Fiji. We can arrange to have a delicious private Lovo feast on the property where you could help in the preparation – from marinating, weaving coconut frond baskets to hold food to building fire. to heating up the stones for cooking. It’s an unforgettable experience and great fun for the whole family!

A rental car is not necessary at our location; however, if you wish to have one, we could make arrangements on your behalf with a reputable local company which has cars and vans for rental. Alternatively, we could have a car or van rented for a day excursion or longer with a reliable driver.

Garden and room service by our staff is included with the rental. The staff are noted for their exceptional standards of service and an extraordinary commitment to ensure guests have the finest Fiji experience possible. They are great with kids and treat guests as part of the family, rendering to guests the warmth and comfort of home, and more.

Various water sports are available from your doorstep. Activities such as boating, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, and diving can be arranged at an additional cost. We also have a forest spa on the property which is staffed by licensed masseuse and masseur and available for service at extra cost.

Walk the trail through coconut plantations to Natewa Bay, the largest bay in the South Pacific, and enjoy the day picnicking and snorkeling, or bike along the scenic coastal road to various beaches. Trips to schools or church service are also available and can be easily arranged.
